I'm looking for a website where I can mark movies that are in theaters, which will then update me that the said movie is out on DVD by e-mail. A very simple feature I'd like because I think it's very hard to bookmark twenty movies or more and check back every so often for when they're out. Just want some sort of reminder so I don't have to worry about it. Thanks a ton~

Someone knows my yahoo messenger password, so to keep them from getting into it, I need to change the password. I don't have yahoo messenger on this computer though, so can I change the password on my yahoo mail %26amp; leave it at that? yahoo email does not provide any desktop antivirus . they use norton's services for their web based email.
and they do have an antispyware available if you download or install their toolbar
although there are mcuh better anti spyware services out there

This means you can copy someone on the email but no one will see that you sent it to that person.
If you send one email to a few people each receiver will see who all you sent it to. If you put someones email address under BCC no one will be able to see this email address since you "blind" courtesy copied it.

You cannot change the old email address. What you can do is contact the commissioner of the league and have him send the invite to your new yahoo ID. Just let him know that your email has changed and he will make the necessary corrections.

Method #1--The spam-industry has programs that are continusously crawling the web looking for the "@" symbol which is a sure sign the the word before it and the domain name after it is an e-mail address! Therefore, one should never post there e-mail address on any sort of website or webpage including guestbooks, forums, or user profiles such as Yahoo's.
Method #2--The spam-industry uses programs that try sending e-mail to all known domain names. Example: a program might start trying to send out e-mails to everyone starting with aaaaa@INVALID.com and continue down to zzzzz@INVALID.com. Using a longer e-mail address will make this harder to do.
Method #3-- The spammers and scammers purchase e-mail addresses from disreputable websites that require you to enter your e-mail address. The biggest offenders are sites that claim they are giving away "this and that" for free often require that you enter your e mail address in a web form. Guess where that address ends up? After the first one, I changed my password, but it doesn't look like they have actually been sent from my account, only that they appear to be sent from my account. However they refuse to honor my request.

Some email systems have this ablitiy some do not. I believe that AOL lets you know if the message has been opened but only between AOL users. Lotus Notes allows this between Notes users. Yahoo mail and I think Google gmail do not have this ability.

Can I attach a whole folder to an e-mail(say a folder of photos) and send it?
My pc is falling to bits!LOL the cd drives don't work so can't put them on a disk, don't have a memory stick or external drive and am getting a new pc from Santa!YEHHH!:-) so can I attach the folder to an e-mail and send it to myself so I can get them on my new pc when I get it or will I have to attach all the photos and not the folder?

Open the program, add all your pictures and whatever else, and the program will 'bind' them all together in compressed format = zip file.
Later when you open the zip file, you will see all individual pictures you had in there.

I'm looking for a website where I can mark movies that are in theaters, which will then update me that the said movie is out on DVD by e-mail. A very simple feature I'd like because I think it's very hard to bookmark twenty movies or more and check back every so often for when they're out. yahoo email does not provide any desktop antivirus . they use norton's services for their web based email.
and they do have an antispyware available if you download or install their toolbar
although there are mcuh better anti spyware services out there

The BCC. Is a blink courtesy copy.
This means you can copy someone on the email but no one will see that you sent it to that person.
If you send one email to a few people each receiver will see who all you sent it to. If you put someones email address under BCC no one will be able to see this email address since you "blind" courtesy copied it.

Can I change the e-mail address that my fantasy team had last year?
I was invited back into a fantasy baseball league that I was in last year. But I don't use the e-mail address I used last year for that league anymore and I got a new address on yahoo. Is it possible for the commissioner to allow me into the league as my new e-mail address instead of my old one? Thanks

You cannot change the old email address. What you can do is contact the commissioner of the league and have him send the invite to your new yahoo ID. Just let him know that your email has changed and he will make the necessary corrections.

When i compose e-mail double spacing is already programmed in. How can i control the spacing myself?
Let me guess.... you are hitting the ENTER key to get a new line?
You probably should be typing continuously to let it wrap to the next line by itself... When you hit ENTER, it is forming a new Paragraph, with a blank line in between paragraphs.
You can force a new line within the same paragraph by HOLDING the SHIFT KEY, then hit ENTER. This will allow you to make a list of items in one paragraph, so you do not have spaces between the lines.
You really don't want to go through the hassle of creating a new email stylesheet. If you start messing with that, you will end up creating styles that some people won't be able to read when they get your email. (There is a divine purpose for everything, but the people that invented the Internet did not reveal their purpose... just ask Al Gore).

What you're attempting to do is use an Email "Alias". Your Email program should allow you to use aliases. Some Email software doesn't....so they're probably not what you want. If you are using Outlook or an online Email service like Yahoo! or GMail, they also allow Email aliases. You set them up ahead of time and then when sending mail, just enter whatever alias you chose and the Email will be sent correctly.

My friend defragmented my computer today as it was running very slow (and still kinda is) and I think it did something to offset the "send" button as it won't let me click on "send" to send e-mail. I asked this question a while ago Thanks to those who answered, I have followed the advise, but i get the message that wannado has a firewall stopping me is there a way around this?

You can forward mails from one email accounr to the other if the email provider gives you that functionality. I use Gmail and yahoo. I generally forward my mails from Gmail to the yahoo! account.
The email forwarding can be configured in the settings ooptions of Gmail (or other mail services if its available). When you go to the settings in a Gmail email account you will see a "Forwarding" tab. Go to that tab and you will find a text box thats seeks the email account to which you want to forward your all emails from the Gmail account (in your case put the yahoo! account name as you want to forward mails to your yahoo! account). There is one more option in the same tab. You can check box the option for keeping a copy of the emails being forwarded from Gmail to other account in the Gmail inbox.
I see that most of the email service provider gives you this facility. So you can access the utility by simply going in the settings sections of your particular email account.

As you said the firewall is preventing you from doing this, I presume you are using the Outlook Express or any other POP mail client. But the advise I gave you was for the web based email services. You have to make changes in your other web based email accounts and in this firewall has got nothing to do. Well, now you can even access your yahoo! account either by the POP client or the web based interface of the Yahoo!
Alternatively, you can include the exceptions in the Firewall settings. Which Firewall are you using? Is it the WindowsXP default?

Approximately how many e-mail addresses can you send an e-mail to at the same time?
I've always been a bit curious as to how many e-mail addresses you can send a single e-mail too, at once.
In other words, do you know how many addresses will fit on the TO: Line, or on the CC: Line, or on the BCC: Line, or all 3, and still be able to send that e-mail successfully to all those addresses at the same time?
Does anyone know the approximate amount? Or perhaps you can tell me what your record is for how many addresses you have successfully sent a single e-mail too, at one time. I bet the numbers are really high!

u need to delete entire account
visit Account Deletion page.
