Pictures and graphics were coming through when we first started using Yahoo. Now most are not coming through.

When i compose e-mail double spacing is already programmed in. How can i control the spacing myself?
Let me guess.... you are hitting the ENTER key to get a new line?
You probably should be typing continuously to let it wrap to the next line by itself... When you hit ENTER, it is forming a new Paragraph, with a blank line in between paragraphs.
You can force a new line within the same paragraph by HOLDING the SHIFT KEY, then hit ENTER. This will allow you to make a list of items in one paragraph, so you do not have spaces between the lines.
You really don't want to go through the hassle of creating a new email stylesheet. If you start messing with that, you will end up creating styles that some people won't be able to read when they get your email. (There is a divine purpose for everything, but the people that invented the Internet did not reveal their purpose... just ask Al Gore).

I would not use Yahoo for professional mail. To me it makes the company look cheap with a free mail server. Use one provided by your ISP and a mail program. You can create templates there.

I correspond with a friend in Russia that uses an internet cafe' / translation service. I use yahoo mail and she uses aol. Though she can view the text in my E mail, she can not view the pictures. I contacted the cafe' / translation service and was told that this happens when E mail is sent in UTF-8 encoding and if I will send using window's encoding my friend will be able to view the pictures also. Yahoo Mail does not allow you to change the encoding method. I would suggest getting another account, possibly GMail, and using an email client like Thunderbird.

Our web host service says we have to enter html code pointing to a web page containing the file. They also say we have a page available with our package, but they can't help me with the code. I need to know the best way to do this. Can't I just embed the graphic in the emails somehow? (Intuitively something tells me that's not going to work - How could it?) You can do it but I would recommend instead that you pick immigration firms only. If they get a lot of email they might not read them - if it's not many, I would send a letter to one of the partners or go to an immigration law meeting of lawyers w/ a handful of resumes but direct your search to the market you want to reach. I am a lawyer and I get about 100 unsolicited emails a week and delete most w/out opening them. If you email I would put "Immigration Legal Assistant Interested in Your Firm" in the subject line or something. Good luck.

Let me guess.... you are hitting the ENTER key to get a new line?
You probably should be typing continuously to let it wrap to the next line by itself... When you hit ENTER, it is forming a new Paragraph, with a blank line in between paragraphs.
You can force a new line within the same paragraph by HOLDING the SHIFT KEY, then hit ENTER. This will allow you to make a list of items in one paragraph, so you do not have spaces between the lines.
You really don't want to go through the hassle of creating a new email stylesheet. If you start messing with that, you will end up creating styles that some people won't be able to read when they get your email. (There is a divine purpose for everything, but the people that invented the Internet did not reveal their purpose... just ask Al Gore).

Does anyone know how to find the file which contains your address book for e-mail?
Getting ready to move info to new computer, and need to back up my favorites (bookmarks) and e-mail address book.

use the migration tool from windows xp. start | accessories | system tools | files and settings transfer wizard.
The address book will be a .wab file. The favourites will be in c:\documents and settings\username\favorites folder
You may have to turn on show hidden files and show protected files.

Download Ccleaner from Ccleaner.com. This will remove all the junk from your hard drive (its safe I use it regularly).
Next De-fragment the drive. Go to start/my computer and select the C drive, right click and select defrag.
Once all that is done check your e-mail again. It should be much improved.

Is there a way to block wordpress "contributors" from seeing e-mail addresses of comments?
I want them to be able to contribute posts... but not be able to see the e-mail addresses displayed on the comment sections. (I want anyne who wants to be to be able to contribute posts, but this would mean as it stands now that anyone also has access to e-mail addresses of everyone who left comments). It specifically says email addreses should not be shared, so i cant have this. Anyone have any suggestions? THanks!

If I were you I would get him a free account with someone like gmx.com. Then I would download Thunderbird portable email client, install it to a pen-drive that he has purchased for himself. Then he will be able to use the pen-drive to send and receive email, or send mail via the webmail service from any computer.

I don't think you can because it instantly goes unless the server is really busy in which case it will still be in under a minute.
