How do i get the yahoo icon for my e mail instead of windows mail?

I have the windows icon that came with the computer but have yahoo as an e mail. How do I get rid of the windows and replace it with yahoo.

The icon for Yahoo mail----has to go on the Yahoo toolbar.


Click the settings icon----it's either the yellow pencil (in older version), on the left of the Yahoo toolbar----OR-----the avatar icon (in newer version).





Then click "add/edit buttons" under "personal options". Put a check by "Mail"----then you need to click "change layout". Arrange the buttons in order of importance---with the mail button in either first or second position, so it will show up on the toolbar--(and not under the chevrons %26gt;%26gt;).


Click "finished". You may have to refresh the page before changes show.

Now---if you want to remove the mail icon on the (windows) IE toolbar-------click on View%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;point your mouse at "toolbars" and then click on "customize".


Move the mail icon FROM the "current buttons" box---TO the "available buttons" box and "reset".
